Parent Committee

We are looking for a diverse group of dedicated professionals committed to advancing the mission of The Boys & Girls Club of Metro Queens. These leaders will be volunteering their time, talents, and energy to positively impact the lives of our club members and their families.

By applying to be a part of our parent committee, you will be helping our young people reach their fullest potential by achieving academic success, developing good character & citizenship and adopting healthy lifestyles.

The Metro Queens Council will also be able to provide professional and social networking opportunities for our club families.

The Metro Queens Council supports the organization through:

  • Raising awareness and serving as the voice of the parents of BGC Metro Queens
  • Organizing and attending fundraisers
  • Engaging in volunteer activities at Clubhouses
  • Organizing holiday events
  • Organizing monthly parent committee meeting and family engagement opportunities

Committee members are expected to actively participate in Metro Queens Council meetings, events and/or volunteer activities throughout the year.
